It seems to be that they're all different. I've got the 'Trapp with 6 disks, and all I've done wih the carb was drill out the brass plug and fatten uo the idle mixture a couple of turns. Ran it 50 miles today without a single backfire. She does have a bit of lean-surge at 35-40 MPH for the first 2 miles. Nothing after she warms up after that. I guess they're all different, and you'll have to take your chances.
